My passion is in the area of Bible based musical plays. In my opinion, there is no greater source of material and story lines than the Bible. I believe the strongest element in this source is in knowing that these stories are all TRUE. These people and events span the last six thousand years and include every possible subject that is common to mankind, war and peace, love and hate inexpressible cruelty and complete self-sacrifice. It will be in these stories alone, that we, as fellow human beings will find the answer we seek, the MEANING OF LIFE ! | ||

The ability to write words and music can be taught to some extent, but if it is your particular talent, you will not only be able to produce material within this genre’, but you will have a passion for it, and that is exactly what is required. The ability to put yourself in the minds and moments that you are attempting to express in a song. Then there is the element of acting. The story must not only be sung, but acted out .All the great musicals have been written in such a way that the singing seems completely natural, as though there just couldn't be any other way to have performed that scene except in lyrics and music. | ||
